A player can also change the hand that he/she has wagered on by dragging and dropping the chips from one spot to another. By simply clicking your left-hand mouse button while pointing the cursor on your chips, you may drag and drop them from the Player spot to the Banker spot.

  2. Once a bet has been made, you may increase the wager by clicking on the chip(s) you want to add.

  4. The value of the Banker and Player hands is displayed in the table. Cards are dealt at the end of the round for your convenience.

    3. Your Bankroll counter is adjusted automatically.

The Game:

Online Baccarat is played with six decks of playing cards that are re-shuffled after each hand at Casino-on-Net Online. Cards are dealt from a shoe, like in the card game Blackjack. Bets can be placed on either the Player's side, the Bank side, or on a Tie. Four cards are then dealt, the first and third to the Player, the second and fourth to the Banker.

The point totals for each of the hands is shown below. When a hand totals 8 or 9, each of these numbers is called a "Natural", and no more cards will be dealt. The winning hand is the total value closest to 9 points. A "Tie" is declared when both hands have equal values.

The Dealer may need to deal a third card, dependant on the initial hand point value. Drawn face up; first to the Player hand and then to the Banker hand, if necessary. Only one additional card may be dealt per hand. The following rules are for the occurrence of a third card being dealt.

Objective:

Players place wagers on the hand they believe will win the round, the winning hand is the closest hand to a total point value of 9 without going over.

Betting Options:

Players can wager on these three choices: the player hand, the banker hand or a tie bet hand. It is also possible to bet on the banker and the player hand or tie at the same time.

Card Values:

Ace cards equal 1 point.
2 through 9 cards are their face value.
10 and Picture cards equal zero.

For example:
9+7=16 Hand counts 6
5+5+5=15 Hand counts 5
10+9=19 Hand is a "Natural" 9
King+Ace+5=16 Hand counts 6

Third Card Rules:

Player Hand:
Player Two Card Total Player Action
1-2-3-4-5-0 Draws if Bank does not hold a "Natural" 8 or 9
6-7-8-9 Stands

Banker Hand:

Banker's Third Card Rule may depend on the third card drawn for the Player.
Banker 2 Card Total Banker Action
0-1-2 Must draw if Player does not hold a "Natural" 8 or 9
7-8-9 Must Stand

When Banker hand Totals 3-6:
Draws when Player's Third Card is: Stands when Player's Third Card is:
3 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-9-0 8
4 2-3-4-5-6-7 1-8-9-0
5 4-5-6-7 1-2-3-8-9-0
6 (Stands if Player does not draw a third card) 6-7 1-2-3-4-5-8-9-0

Payout:
  1. Player's winning hand wagers are paid 1 to 1. For example: if you bet $5 on the Player hand, and the Player hand wins, you will get your $5 back, in addition to another $5.

  2. Banker's winning hand wagers are also paid 1 to 1. The House charges a 5 percent commission, called vigorish, on all of the winning Bank wagers. The commission is deducted immediately and automatically during the pay-out of the winnings. For example: if you bet $5 on the Banker hand, and the Banker hand wins, you will get your $5 bet back, plus another $4.75, which includes the $.25 deduction from the house charge.

  3. Winning tie bet wagers are paid 8 to 1. For example: if you bet $5 on the Tie hand, and Banker and Player have the same hand count, you will get your $5 bet back, in addition to another $40.
